WHO WE ARE
EuroCloud France is a non-profit association, 100% dedicated to Cloud Computing, 100% European , uniting French Cloud Computing ecosystem. EuroCloud France initiated the creation of EuroCloud Europe, a European federation with head office located in Luxembourg gathering 22 national associations; it gathers over one thousand businesses acting for the Cloud in Europe.
With 205 member companies, EuroCloud France is the most important association of our federation. Since then, the biggest leaders have joined us: IBM, HP, Google, and many other SMEs and 50 Start-ups. EuroCloud France is member of the French Tech.
The first, if not sole aim of our association is to promote the extension of the use of Cloud Computing technologies by the French companies. Our means: conferences, white papers, interventions within CCIs, business meetings.
The association’s funding is fully covered by its members and private sponsors.
The Cloud Computing General Assembly were created by EuroCloud France ei2006 and organised each year without interruption by our association. The General Assembly is an annual meeting of the sector’s actors. The 10th Cloud Computing General Assembly will be held on Thursday, 9 July in the framework of the Cloud Week Paris.
In 2007, EuroCloud France created the Cloud Computing Awards in order to highlight the achievements of this new market’s actors. This year, the EuroCloud France Awards will reward 6 Cloud companies. The EuroCloud Award Ceremony will take place on Friday 10 July and will close the Cloud Week Paris.
EuroCloud is directed by a Management Board whose 12 members are elected and renewable by thirds every year. The 12 managers are: ArrowECS, Aspaway, Esker, Fujitsu RunMyProcess, IBM, Iteanu, Numergy, Oodrive, Revendreducloud, Satelliz, SFR and Colt.
