This event will present the originality to larger groups and innovative startups on the same stage: the ambition and the economic fate of the Cloud in the new great southern region, carried by Montpellier labeled #FrenchTech. 4 major themes will reflect the future of the digital economy at the territorial level. Jean-Dominique Seval (Deputy CEO of IDATE, think tank for the digital economy) and Colin Lalouette (visionary CEO of the software cloud www.appvizer.fr comparator) will present a mapping and their perspectives on the digital economy and Cloud in the South of France. The rest of the day will be built around round tables reflecting the 3 sectors of excellence borne on the FrenchSouth digital Cluster. The first round table, will present the benefits of the Cloud in general and on the reinvention of the media in particular. Major players such as IBM or Dell located in Montpellier for many years will be present. The second round table will demonstrate local transversality of the Cloud since innovative infrastructure until the connected objects through the SaaS software making links between these two sectors of activity. Finally, the third round table will present opportunities for the Cloud for a digital creative sector where the ecosystem of the Montpellier Mediterranean metropolis continues as the 2nd video game pole in France.
